Scotland defeat British Army
Scotland Students have overcame a 0-6 half time deficit to beat the British Army 18 – 12 at Preston Lodge RUFC in Edinburgh as part of their 2008 University World Cup preparations.

The Scots were outstanding after the break and produced some exciting, flowing rugby league against a very physical Army side.

Star player for the Scottish Students was Napier University fullback Nick Broere, who pulled off a brilliant try saving tackle on Army prop Nick Broere, to change the momentum of the game.

At full time the Students were understandably delighted with the result and now turn their attention to their next fixture against the Prison Service.
